Philippe Parra: “Cultivating French art of living”

Since 2019, Philippe Parra has been managing Château Sainte Sabine with astute expertise for each client to experience an emotional and exceptional stay.
What do you think differentiates Château Sainte Sabine from other châteaux?

This is an establishment that leaves no-one indifferent. It exudes a rare authenticity that cultivates the French art of living. In addition to its beauty, the elegance of the place is remarkable. A whole part of it dates back to the 12th century. It is a singular experience to be able to spend moments within walls so steeped in history.

How do you manage to cultivate this “French art of living”?

By creating an atmosphere in which elegance is natural. This is possible thanks to the amenities and services we offer. From the personalised, warm welcome to the cleanliness of the rooms, the choice of materials and of course the quality of our restaurant Lassey. Everything must be impeccable, but remain convivial. Nothing touches me more than seeing the eyes of our guests sparkle with joy.

What are your priorities for 2024?

To continue to preserve and develop the establishment. We have totally transformed the interior courtyard into a French garden with pathways and a central fountain. And of course, there’s the renovated Guard Room which is now the “flagship” of the château, the most prestigious guest room of our establishment. A majestic 110 m2 suite with French ceiling, a neo-Gothic fireplace, and solid oak flooring.
