For the past year, the swimming pool has complemented the upscale facilities at the Hostellerie de Levernois. In an idyllic setting, the new semi-Olympic stone lap pool, majestically measuring 30 x 5 meters, redefines the luxury bathing experience. It allows for moments of pure escapism, of complete serenity where time no longer holds sway, and where only the sound of the water punctuates guests' thoughts.
Inspired by Burgundy's ancient wash-houses, local artisans have crafted every centimetre of this pool as a work of art. Once again, nature is sublimated, and the swimming pool enhances the surrounding greenery. "It was an obvious choice for us to offer an outdoor relaxation area with a swimming pool without detracting from the beauty of the park," explains Axel Nérin, General Manager. The result is spectacular! The surrounding area is entirely dedicated to the pool, with a landscaped deck and individual terraces combining wood, stone and plants. The majestic Burgundy dry-stone wall is a reminder of the plots and built heritage of the famous Climats de Bourgogne vineyards.
The lap pool is a temptation to plunge headlong into the water, or simply to do a few laps to cool off. The setting is marvellous: the estate's gardens can be seen in the distance, the sound of birdsong adds an extra bucolic note, and the trickle of water from the nearby river echoes the murmur of the wind.
