Above all, it was a passion for creation that led me to studying fashion design. I was always attracted to leather, but it is only since being in my professional life that I have specialised in leather goods.
In fashion, everything is a never-ending cycle. We get inspiration, we evolve, we determine our desires and our aspirations. What matters most to me is the way my bags are designed and produced. They tell a story, it is, above all, a story of craftsmanship, and in no way do I want to leave this virtuous circle - which makes sense to me - to turn to industrial fantasies.
From diverse origins. It could be an object, a personality, a painting, colours... I like to imagine bags that can be carried by my 90-year-old grandmother as well as by my 10-year-old niece! For the choice of materials, I work with French tanneries labelled “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living heritage company) for leather, and a weaving company in Laval which uses materials such as organic cotton or recycled bottles to create the interior linings of my bags.
