A thousand-and-one serene fragrances

In the midst of its park, lulled by the scents and rustling of nature, the Hostellerie de Levernois reveals its new showcase of wellness: the Sisley Spa.

When strolling in the park along paths lined with century-old trees, you get a glimpse of a timeless retreat. On stepping inside the Meix des Magnolias, your eye is drawn by a floral universe on the walls: a magnificent fresco by artist and illustrator Agathe Notteghem-Godot of Burgundy. Wood with a patina, natural stone, furnishings from antique fairs… The warm, intimate atmosphere in the Sisley Spa is permeated by a delicate fragrance.

A holistic experience

This sanctuary of serenity hosts four treatment cabins, two designed for shared experiences. They all benefit from a private bathroom and a terrace shaded by mulberry trees to remain sheltered from prying eyes. True to the Sisley spirit, the Spa proposes a range of phyto-aromatic treatments combining the strength of plant extracts with the benefits of essential oils. In the wellbeing area, a hammam and sauna envelop the senses, while the cold bath, inspired by Burgundy’s vinification vats, revitalizes the body before it lounges peacefully in the hot tub on the outdoor terrace. To prolong this interlude of tranquillity, sun loungers invite you to savour infusions made solely from plants in the park. Here, everything is designed to reconnect body and soul with nature.

A garden of essences

The real footprint of the Spa, the green areas are designed as an ode to nature and well-being. Inspired by simple medieval gardens, an aromatic square of 600 sq.m reveals some 50 plant varieties with ancestral medicinal virtues: peppermint, lemongrass verbena, lavender, sage and many more. Chosen for its virtues and fragrance, each one enriches the experience. Bouquets of peonies, dahlias and wheat adorning the treatment cabins play their part in this organic dialogue between spaces and senses. Finally, a forest of 2,000 plants adapted to climate change bears witness to the commitment of the Hostellerie de Levernois to hospitality ever more respectful of its environment.
