36 year-old Charles Hess, Master Cheesemaker since 2019, represents the family's 4th generation of cheesemakers.
At the heart of Beaune, the Alain HESS store has become a reference in Burgundy over the years, and an essential address for fans of gastronomy. In this boutique, nothing is banal, neither the decor nor the products. Local flavours are highlighted, though cheese remains the star player, part of the Hess family's ADN. We do not become cheesemakers by chance; it requires a vocation, or at least a passion. Do not miss our famous creations such as "Délice de Pommard" or "Royal fourré à la Truffe".
